This was an interview conducted by Ian Ray for a podcast called "Stretch 2 Go" and is focused on fascia and recovery fundamentals.

Ian comes from the fascia world himself.

He understands the questions that start showing up when you begin looking past muscles and into the deeper tension system that actually holds the body together. He asked me a ton of personal questions about how my background as an athlete, singer, and researcher led me to fascia work in the first place — and how years of injuries forced me to question the standard strength and rehab models most athletes grow up with. We talk about ground-up mechanics, the overlooked power of the feet, and why breath may be the most important missing piece in fascia recovery. I also share why Musical Breathwork focuses on restoring nasal breathing, diaphragm strength, and rhythmic circulation through the body’s fluid systems. This episode is really about rediscovering the body as an intelligent, spring-loaded system. When the breath returns, the rhythm returns. And when the rhythm returns, the body remembers how to heal.

We discussed:

- Introduction to Brooke McPoyle and Her Journey - The Transition from Athletics to Fascia Work - Understanding Fascia: A New Perspective - Developing a Unique Approach to Fascia Therapy - The Importance of Breath in Fascia Health - Musical Breathwork: Empowering Through Breath - The Connection Between Fascia and the Lymphatic System - The Importance of Breath in Fascia Health - Inspiration and Research in Fascia - Understanding Fascia Recovery and Repair - Personal Journey and Passion for Fascia - Breath Techniques for Fascia Workers For those who prefer a visual experience, the conversation is available on YouTube. As always, the audio version streams wild and free on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. I sincerely hope you enjoyed our talk. Be mighty!

I spend a lot of time with my nose in books. But my favorite place to be is outside: tending to my bees, planting native trees, worm farming, experimenting with electroculture, saving dragonflies, composting, dancing, playing, being.

I sincerely hope your list is at least as long as mine.
